DREAM CHURCH

Dream Church began in April 1992 in the home of Pastor Kim Hak-jung. In December 1993, the congregation relocated to 88-1 Bundang-dong and was established as New Ansan Church. From the very beginning, we prayed that we would not be just one more church of little significance, but a church carrying a distinct vision and calling for our time. With this in mind, New Ansan Church set out under the motto “a church that non-believers love, a church that young people love, a church that men love all the more,” devoting every effort to embracing the world.

By God’s grace, New Ansan Church grew rapidly in the years that followed. In 2002, in order to serve the local community more actively, we built a leiports (a Korean blend of ‘leisure’ and ‘sports’) center and renamed the church New Ansan Leiports Church. In 2007, we took another step forward and became Dream Church. Today, twenty thousand members gather here to cultivate the dreams that God has placed within each of them.

Dream Church is not a church that merely voices wishful thinking. We are a church confident that God, who has begun a good work in you, will surely bring your dream to completion (Philippians 1:6). Dream Church is a church that offers not mere possibility but a sure and certain vision. Within that vision, the members of Dream Church move forward to fulfill the special dream God has given them.
